It is always very special to have an uncle who is a priest. There is a special relationship, a unique bond. It is a source of spiritual strength, as well as pride for the family. And too a ready priest anytime you need him in the important times of your life.

Father Tom died peacefully at 6:10 a.m. this morning at Resurrection Life Center in Chicago. Father Art was at his side.
ReplyDeleteFather Tom's visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6 at St. Mary of the Woods Church, 7033 N Moselle Avenue, Chicago, IL 60646. The visitation will continue until shortly before his funeral Mass begins at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday night at St. Mary of the Woods Church. Burial will be in Dwight on Thursday, November 7 at noon, with a lunch afterwards at The Country Mansion, 101 W. South Street, Dwight, IL 60420.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
